Hi VFC Community,

We have received multiple reports regarding scammers calling people saying they are the “Fireman’s Charity” and asking for money. Do not give these people any money. We do not call people soliciting donations. All communication is done through email and donations are done made through our official secure online donation portal.

It is incredibly disappointing to hear that bad actors are trying to steal money from people by impersonating a charity that is led by firefighters. We will continue to monitor this situation, however, if you do receive a phone call from someone saying they are a firefighters charity please advise send an email to info@vanfirecharties.com.
