Lifelines for Seniors

Program Overview

Safety And Peace Of Mind

Seniors living independently in our community deserve to feel safe and secure, knowing that if they need emergency medical care, help is always within reach. Vancouver Firefighters have seen too many seniors wait hours or days for emergency aid after a fall or medical episode. A Philips Lifeline with built-in fall detection provides 24/7 access to help, giving seniors and their families peace of mind.

Through a partnership with the STAT Centre at UBC Hospital, Vancouver Firefighter Charities supplies Lifelines to seniors in financial or service need who are ready to return home. We provide the hardware, install it ourselves, and cover all monitoring fees, empowering seniors to live independently while ensuring help is only a button-press away.
