Umbrella Day 2025 was a massive success!

This year’s event marked the eighth anniversary for Umbrella Day, with over 40 Vancouver Firefighters, volunteering their time while off-duty, hitting the streets, selling custom VFC umbrellas, and raising awareness of our mission. Thank you to everyone in Vancouver who supported this year’s event by purchasing an umbrella, making a donation, or stopping by to say hello. Because of your generosity, we sold over 250 umbrellas and raised more than $15,000 net, providing critical funding for our core programs: Snacks For Kids, Toys For Kids, Sports For Kids, and Lifelines For Seniors.

We also want to extend a very special thank-you to our Umbrella Day sponsor, Cassels.
