Vancouver firefighters are committed to securing the funds needed to ensure our programs have a lasting impact in the community. From organizing fundraising initiatives to donating a portion of our paycheques, we know it takes a team effort to keep these programs strong.
We are also fortunate to live in a community filled with people and organizations willing to use their networks and resources to strengthen our mission. When this network is engaged, it becomes a powerful force multiplier, propelling our programs forward and expanding our reach.
Whether it’s hosting a fundraiser, partnering with us, or considering long-term options like legacy giving, there are many meaningful ways to get involved and fuel our mission.

Ways To Fuel the Mission
Donate
One of the most effective ways to support the VFC is through a direct donation. Our programs depend on community generosity to reach as many people in need as possible. In addition to running our own initiatives, we also support organizations close to our hearts, such as the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund, BC Cancer, the ALS Society of BC, and other causes that advance our mission. As a registered charity, all donations receive an official tax receipt.

Host a Fundraiser
Activate your network! From forgoing gifts at a birthday party and asking guests to make a donation instead, to hosting fashion shows and directing ticket sales to our mission, our amazing supporters continually find creative ways to help the VFC.

The Toys For Kids team works incredibly hard to connect with our community to collect toys that are directed to families in need over the holiday season. That reach can be extended even further by community members hosting their own toy drives in support of our mission.
